We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and deliver infrastructure initiatives with a strong focus on Cloud, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Data platforms. This role will manage small to medium-sized infrastructure projects, including cloud migrations, data center transitions, and virtual desktop implementations. The ideal candidate brings proven experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams, managing dependencies, mitigating risks, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with senior leadership, vendors, and engineering teams.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects, including cloud initiatives, AVD implementations, and data platform projects.
Coordinate requirements gathering, planning, and execution with business and technical stakeholders
Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies across multiple workstreams
Identify and manage critical paths, upstream/downstream dependencies, and resource constraints
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and status reports
Communicate project milestones, risks, and issues clearly to stakeholders and leadership
Coordinate cross-functional teams including cloud engineering, infrastructure, database, application development, data engineering, and integrations
Manage a portfolio of infrastructure initiatives, balancing priorities and resolving conflictsCollaborate with vendors, contractors, and third-party partners to ensure successful delivery
Support project closeout activities and document lessons learned
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in IT project coordination or project management
Proven experience delivering IT infrastructure projects from planning through completion
Strong understanding of cloud environments, virtual desktop solutions (preferably Azure Virtual Desktop), and data platforms
Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional technical teams
Experience working directly with Director and VP-level stakeholders
Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have:
Project Management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, CompTIA Project+, APM, or equivalent
Experience supporting M&A integrations or projects within manufacturing environments
Formal education in a technical discipline or hands-on infrastructure experience
Familiarity with Azure, cloud migrations, VDI/AVD, data platforms, and hybrid environments
